Every house has a story. Even those that no longer stand.
Squares, buildings, fields, paths. On the map — and through time.

The old smithy that only lives on a 1932 photo. The innkeeper at the marketplace whose house burned three times. The Stations of the Cross that hardly anyone can find anymore. Archithek gives places a fixed point on the map and at the same time a position in time. Buildings that have been torn down do not disappear — they get a "demolition date" and live on in the story.
A wide range — and you decide what matters.
- Buildings, farms, churches, public squares
- Streets, paths, bridges, parcels
- Natural places: rocks, springs, trees
- Historic places that no longer exist
- Multiple names over time
- Address, coordinates and description

A fictional example
Pfarrgasse, today Lindenstrasse
The street name has changed three times. On the old photos, in the letters, in the church books it says "Pfarrgasse". Archithek stores all names with time spans. Search "Pfarrgasse" — find Lindenstrasse. Search "Lindenstrasse" — see that it used to be Pfarrgasse, and that in 1897 the baker Huber opened there.
Three reasons why places are a joy in Archithek.
